WebOS is (probably) lost after HP’s decision to drop it, but they also intend to sell their PC division, so at the end of the day HP will not make any devices anymore and instead compete head-on with e.g. IBM.
Also results from Dell indicate that the PC business is not what it used to be, and that Apple also takes more bites out of that market.
