Medical information in your hand
Medkompis is a mobile app that provides essential and immediate information from the Swedish information services VARA, FASS and 1177, as support in the customer and patient dialogue at pharmacies, health care centers, at home with a patient etc.
Currently the app is provided only for the Swedish market, but could potentially be adapted to other countries’ medical information services.

Project
Medkompis was developed during 2020, and an effort was made to attract pharmacies for use by staff, without success.
To optimize performance, an intermediate server stores data from VARA (XML is converted to database rows), updated on a daily basis, as per VARA requirements.
We were not allowed to integrate data from FASS, so we had to link to their mobile site instead.
