The smart and likely long-lived part of this whole Angry Birds frenzy is the Bad Piggy Bank. That makes a whole lot of sense. Much more than Angry Birds itself, that to me sounds like another “Tamagotchi” (everyone wants it for a short while, then nobody wants it).
The Bad Piggy Bank gives me Steam vibes. Valve’s Steam increasingly take over from traditional means of distributing PC games, now distributing any provider’s games, not just Valve’s own, and it’s very profitable.
