Throwable robots act as smart grenades
I know, it’s a sinister topic, but this is just hinting at what will come in the near term future.
I imagine autonomous robots that can perform surveillance on their own based on set areas to cover.
They would be so inexpensive (think the future technology (and cost) of a smartphone with locomotion and digital cognition) that “fatalities” on their part wouldn’t matter.
