What Is Intelligence, Anyway-
Isaac Asimov is a bright fellow, which is apparent from his non-fictional books, but he still fell for the trick joke. I did too by the way, but I’m stupid for real.
Also, being intelligent is not the same as being smart. A scientist can be very intelligent and intuitive in his/her field, but can be completely incompetent when it comes to people (not the least reading and manipulating them), money (read: get a lot of them for no or little work), getting “first in line” (it’s who you know, not what you know), etc, and that’s being smart, and that’s what really matters from a “get a life” perspective.
