A different kind of Twitter wall

There are several companies offering so called Twitter walls (including MM3 that I’m co-founder of).

A Twitter wall is about showing a certain Twitter thread with or without filtering on hashtags or keywords, in an attractive format suitable for public display.

This one is more geared towards nostalgia and geekiness: A retro twitter wall (twypper)

Note the use of a typewriter and an Arduino board. I wonder why he didn’t go for a matrix printer, but maybe that would have been too little of a challenge.

It reminds me of the Dilbert episode where the manager wants all his e-mails printed on paper, which is based on a true story. There’s another one where he wants all Web pages printed. I hope that one is not reality-based.
