As you know, Twitter handles distribution of short text messages, kind of like broadcast SMS, and really only that, but the creativity provided by third party (companies as well as users) around that obvious limitation is quite intriguing.
I have to admit I mainly use Twitter for output, and very little for input so far, even though I installed Yoono recently to be able to better follow Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. It becomes rather noisy, taking concentration away from what I’m doing at the moment, so I will follow those channels manually instead.
Interestingly, sending messages to oneself as a reminder is how I’ve sometimes used SMS in the past. New technology, same behavior.
I certainly would like to do something with “3. Control DIY Home Automation Projects” for experimental and possibly also commercial reasons.
