As in a higher frame rate.
James Cameron wants Avatar 2 to be 60fps 3D – Geek.com
I love this idea, and it’s long overdue, as I ‘m very sensitive to the very low frame rate of current movies. 24 fps is simply not enough. Especially not in CGI-heavy movies where it’s hard to create natural motion blur.
Not true if we talk smooth motion: “Movies are typically filmed at the standard 24fps. It’s all the human eye requires to see motion”
Now when projectors are digital, 60 fps is easy to achieve.
There you go: “Cameron’s production partner John Landau has also pointed out that the equipment used today for digital film production can already do the 48 and 60fps captures”.
So keep pushing for it James.
