- Continuously determine trending search keywords
- Write lots of Web articles that contain those combinations of keywords
- Search engines index those pages
- Users search for the trending keywords (via Google or via the sites) and get served the articles and ads
All in all lots of low-quality content for the sole purpose of driving in ad revenue. Well, that’s the business model of most of the Web right, or do they go too far?
As the ads are provided by Google, does Google really want to stop Demand Media from doing this, however arguable it might be?
